Join Gregory James (Jim) Van Etten for an open knowledge session exploring his ongoing federal civil-rights challenge to Title IV-D child-support enforcement and related constitutional violations. Drawing from more than a year of litigation in the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts (4:24-cv-40113-MRG), the First Circuit Court of Appeals (25-1852), and a pending Emergency Stay before the U.S. Supreme Court (25A408), Jim will discuss the legal and procedural realities facing citizens caught in the modern child-support system. Topics include fraudulent service of process, void state orders, unconstitutional wage-garnishment enforcement, and newly uncovered Massachusetts DCF policies authorizing warrantless data collection and home entry. The goal is to share practical insights—research methods, filing strategies, and lessons learned—so that others can better protect their due-process and privacy rights. This is an educational, non-legal-advice session intended for advocates, researchers, and anyone seeking a clearer understanding of how Title IV-D enforcement operates within federal and state systems.
